What This Service Covers
Film and commercial FPV cinematography covers branded content, commercials and film production shots that need movement and precision. This includes one-take fly-throughs of a hotel or venue, cinematic flights over landscapes such as Petra or Amman's skyline, and close, controlled shots for a commercial. High-end aerial production alongside FPV can also add 4K/8K resolution, RAW photos and HDR imaging for productions that need top-quality stills and video.
Who This Service Is For
This service suits film and commercial production companies, advertising agencies, and hospitality brands such as hotels and resorts that want a fly-through of their property. It also fits tourism boards and businesses that want cinematic footage of a location rather than a fast-paced chase shot. Past projects have included cinematic commercial work for brands such as Xiaomi and hospitality clients such as St. Regis, alongside cinematic location flights shown in the portfolio.
How a Shoot Works
- Consult – We review the brief, references and the story the footage needs to tell.
- Plan – A shot list and flight path are prepared, with permits arranged for the location.
- Site assessment – Launch points, camera lines and conditions are checked in advance, indoors and outdoors.
- Filming day – Shots are flown and repeated until each one on the shot list is right.
- Post & deliver – Footage is stabilized, color graded and, where needed, finished with sound design before delivery.
Safety and Planning
Filming inside a building or close to a set has its own safety needs. Every shoot starts with a site assessment, with safety guards used for indoor flights through hallways, lobbies or tight spaces. Flight permits and clearances are handled for locations in Jordan, and coordinated with local authorities for work abroad. All flights are covered by drone liability insurance.
What You Receive
You get raw footage on the same day as the shoot, with an edited, color-graded sequence delivered within 48 to 72 hours. Delivery can include raw files for your own post-production pipeline or a finished edit with color grading and sound design. If you want to talk through a shot list before booking, you can request a shot-list review.
Why FPV Instead of a Standard Drone
A standard camera drone is well suited to smooth, wide establishing shots of a landscape or building from a distance. It cannot thread through a hallway, fly close past a car, or move through a doorway in one take. An FPV drone is small and hand-flown, so it can move through tight spaces and hold a close, dynamic line that a standard drone cannot safely attempt. Many productions use both: a standard drone for wide scale shots and FPV for the immersive, close-in moments. For more on how directors combine the two, see FPV vs regular drones for commercials.
